The Firefighters Battle For The Garage
When the flames were growing higher Jim knew that the alarm bells would be sounding soon. He just did not know how long it was going to be until they started to go off. Thankfully Jim knew that it was not his home that was in need of help, but it was his neighbors. That is when he decided that he had better get ready to go to the firehouse to battle this beast.
As Jim was waiting for the tones to drop he moved his wife's pair of pearl izumi shorts. After he moved them out of his way he seen his uniform pants and put them on knowing that they would help keep him from getting burned by the rising flames.
The tones started dropping not long after he t dropping telling the department about the fire he already knew about. He heard that it was his neighbor that called in the fire so he was thankful about that, but he was just worried now about the diamondback bikes that he used to keep in the garage and he hoped they were okay.
He hopped onto his mongoose mountain bike and pedaled as fast as he could. The station was a little over a mile down the road, but it would still take him about two to three minutes to reach it. Once he reached it though he knew that it was going to be a slim crew today because the engine was not even started yet.
As he turned into the station the door was already going up, but the truck was not running yet. He quickly fired up the engine and heard it roar to life. He knew that the rest of the crew was going to be coming in quickly, but if they were not their by the time he was ready they would take off.
After doing those things he walked over and started putting on his gear. A couple of more people showed up and each one asked who was going to drive. They all wanted the nozzle, but it was determined that Jim should have the nozzle since he knew the building layout so he hopped into the officers seat and marked the unit en route to the scene.
As Jim crawled into the building the nozzle tightly grasped in his hand he saw the flames rolling over his head. He was a little awestruck by this power, but quickly cracked open the nozzle and heard the reassuring hiss of the flames being beaten back. After the fire was out he walked over to his neighbor to check on him. Thankfully Jim saw the bikes sitting next to his neighbor with just a little bit of soot on the handles.
